Awwww snap. You know what you’re after in life right? You wanna feel good, make others feel good, and live the good life right? The big thing here is how? None of us have the definitive answer for each and every one of our lives but we all do have AN answer. This is the key to taking control of your life and future.
How do you get AN answer out of someone and hopefully gain their support in the process? You can’t just walk up to someone and be all “I wanna feel good in life and live a good life, you got the answer?” can you? Sure you can but chances are good they’ll think you’re a bit cray cray (as the kids say, I hear…but I could be a few years late on my current social media slang terms). In order to get the answers to life’s secrets and the support to reach your ultimate goals we must communicate!
To overcome our challenges, we must we willing to be vulnerable and discuss how we feel, what we are and are not great at, and truly connect. Understand that we must take chances & there will be mistakes along the way but learning to fail forward, or pick up the lessons from our mistakes, on the road to success is a major accomplishment. In order to do all these things in conjunction with one another we must communicate.
What do we communicate? We communicate kindness. Eventually we will be asking “What can I do for you?” to assist others in overcoming their challenges but before we get there we have to go back to the basics to understand just what the heck is it that we need to say to build the bridges of friendship. If you are willing to treat others better than they ever expect to be treated chances are good you’re gonna put a huge smile on their face. In the process you’ll put a huge smile on yours as well because it feels good to make others feel good.
Of course it goes without saying (but I’m gonna say it anyway) that our kindness must be sincere and real. If you’d like to get some help in your life, some answers to the unknowns, make the commitment to others, and communicate your appreciation for those in your life. Create those connections through communicating kindness & a willingness to be vulnerable. Together you and the many others you’re encountering in your life will be building bridges to your futures through this communication.
To get the answers we seek in life we must be willing to first serve. A willingness to share the information you have learned on your journey with others goes a long way to eventually locating someone willing to share the information you seek in your life. Your service to others through communication, support, and asking “What can I do for you?” will carry those in your life over their challenges and in the process you over yours.
I say it a heck of a lot but I’ll say it again. If you have something nice to say, say it. This communication is a pathway to a future so bright that even shades may not dull the light coming into your life.
